Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed

Counter-Notification

If you believe material you posted or that identifies you was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, an appropriate judicial district), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice

Our Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  1. Review the notice for completeness
  2. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  3. Notify the party who posted the material, where applicable
  4. Process any valid counter-notification in accordance with the DMCA’s requirements

Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to remove content and, where applicable, terminate the accounts of contributors who are found to be repeat infringers.
